The Rule of Arrangement

Allah says {

on the day when their tongues and their hands and their feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do} [Al-Nur: 24].

In this verse, Allah mentions the organs of the body in order from the upper to the lower for the human body, the tongue is in the upper part of the body, then comes the hands and then the feet.

Allah also says:{

This day We shall put a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to what they had earned.} [YA SIN: 65], so the mouths precede the hands and the feet.

Understanding the eloquence in the Qur’aan and the order of things that are mentioned in its verses is a very important step in memorizing the Qur’aan and perfecting the memorization. The Qur’aan has been made easy for us to learn and memorize, we just have to pay attention when memorizing it. May Allah make it easy for us all, aameen.
